December 2024 Newsletter
As 2024 ends, we’re thankful for a year of growth. We’ve hired more staff, opened a second office, launched new projects, and built new relationships. Our team has expanded, allowing us to take on exciting challenges and opportunities. We’re grateful for your support and look forward to continuing this journey together into the new year.
Constant, Passionate, Ethical Core Beliefs that Drive RWB.
The Engineering News-Record (ENR) Texas & Louisiana publication recently recognized two of our projects in the 2024 Best Projects in the K-12 Education and Renovation/Restoration categories. We are proud to have been involved in these distinctive projects and to have collaborated with a dedicated team of architects and general contractors.

Plano ISD broke ground in November on a new 150,000-square-foot Career and Technology Center serving 9 through 12-grade students. The CTE facility will equip students with the technical and training skills for various career paths, including welding, cosmetology, culinary arts, automotive collision repair, and audiovisual communication programs.
In this last quarter of the year, we have kept busy with a bit of fun in between working on projects. In October, staff brought out their creativity with costumes, decorative Halloween workstations, and culinary skills. In November, RWB staff participated in our first-ever in-house CPR classes. Later that month, we enjoyed celebrating all we have to be Thankful for at our annual Thanksgiving Potluck lunch! Then, we ended the year with our annual Christmas Party, held this year at the Dallas Arboretum.

We want to welcome our newest additions to the firm! Justin Trog joined the BIM team as a BIM Coordinator and MPE Designer. He brings nearly three years of experience in industrial and manufacturing. He got into this industry via a fun career path that started with welding in an industrial fabrication shop in Cedar Hill, TX, moved to CNC manufacturing (ranging from aerospace electronic components to pressure washer nozzles), and eventually got involved in 3D modeling and Revit setup.
Our technology group continues to grow and has added two new members: Emilio Salazar, an engineer in training (EIT) who recently received his electrical engineering degree from the University of Memphis. There, he not only studied Electrical Engineering but also won a national championship for Memphis Tiger Rugby and worked as a trade HVAC Technician for the Air National Guard.
Our new plumbing designer, Terri Brown, joins us with 14 years of design experience. In her free time, Terri and her husband enjoy antique shopping!
Hasan Alhasoon, a technology designer with a degree in mechanical engineering, will serve as a technology designer. In the last few years, he has specialized in low-voltage systems.
Brannon Beaton has joined the mechanical group and brings with him nearly four years of experience in the industry. In 2017, he earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University and played college football. In addition, Brannon recently passed his F.E. exam, obtaining his EIT Certification, and is on his way to receiving his P.E. license. In his free time, Brannon enjoys gaming as his main hobby but is also a fan of playing any and every sport. Fun Fact: Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, was my quarterback at Whitehouse High School, and I played all sports with him while growing up.
Welcome to the RWB Team!
