In 2009, Richland College Garland Campus officially opened its doors, marking a significant milestone in the region’s commitment to specialized workforce development. Specifically, this new construction project was designed to support advanced technical training programs tailored to meet the needs of Garland’s booming manufacturing corridor. As a result, the campus serves as a critical hub for educating and preparing skilled workers who contribute directly to the local economy. Moreover, the building also houses the Garland Chamber of Commerce, fostering strong community and business partnerships.
