One by One
For every K-12 project we take on, we look at the unique criteria and challenges for that project. A school designed for music and arts has very different design needs than one design for robotics and coding. So, we never take a “copy and paste” approach to designing schools. We take great care to ensure each space is optimized for occupant comfort while meeting the overall goals of the project.
Unique Elements
Depending on the educational goals for the school, there may be unique design elements at play. RWB Consulting Engineers has experience designing schools with indoor pools (natatoriums), auditoriums, convertible spaces, libraries, gymnasiums, cafetierias, and more. Our vast experiences have provided us with the experience needed to design these spaces successfully.
Serviceability
Since most school budgets are tight, it’s critical that systems built into schools are meant to last for many years. In addition, system need to be easy to service. That means placing equipment in the right location, and specifying equipment that’s simple to service. We understand that skill level of technicians, maintenance and operation scheudles, and budget constrants vary from school to school. We are able to modify our designs to support the needs of any school district.
